Fixture News Local quintet get England Deaf chance at the Gardens

Five players from within the Saints’ region have been named in England Deaf’s squad to take on Wales this Saturday – a game that will be played at Franklin’s Gardens immediately following the Aviva Premiership clash with Wasps.

Three of those make the starting line-up – Dunstablians full back Max Thorne, Kettering centre Tom Bridgeman and Bletchley loose head Joshua Sprules – while Northampton Old Scouts forward Jack Hunt will be hoping for a chance on home-town soil from the bench. Cantabrigians’ Chris Lovett is also part of the the 23-man squad.

England were beaten by Wales 36-3 in Cardiff back in January but will be looking for revenge on home soil - playing at Franklin’s Gardens for the first time shortly after Saints versus Wasps this Saturday, May 10th.

Both games are included in the price of a standard ticket, which can be booked now by CLICKING HERE. The Saints themselves face a big game, needing a point from the Round 22 clash to ensure their Aviva Premiership semi-final will be played on home soil.
