Club News My Moment – Justin Gomersall

As far as I am concerned this was a tough choice as last season gave us so many memorable highlights.

Dublin – the Leinster game and trip, what a weekend!! Tigers at home, Tom Wood scoring and the crowd. The beating of Bath to win the Amlin in Cardiff and the French band afterwards!

Then the ultimate win against Saracens in the 100th minute of the last game of the season – SENSATIONAL!

But my best was having to go to Hong Kong on business and sadly missing Saints versus Gloucester. Walking around Wanchai in the early hours, only to find a pub not only willing to show the Saints, but to turn off the football match presently showing on the big screen and replace it with Franklin’s Gardens.

I was sat next to two fellow Saints supporters and a handful of Gloucester supporters, and however many of thousands of miles away we were the result, was we had far too many, with fabulous laughs with great banter and of course a big Saints win.

What a season!! I would have to say if Carlsberg did rugby seasons.......this would have been it!! Here is to 2014/15!!!
