Since becoming a plc in 2000, Northampton Saints has blazed a trail on and off the field, developing Franklin's Gardens into being one of the best rugby stadiums in Europe and continuing a legacy that will see the club continue long into the future.

At the heart of this has been the belief that we are just custodians of a magnificent club that has been in existence for well over a century. It is therefore imperitive that decisions are made that are in the club's long-term interests, not just short-term gain.

Although the club will always be indebted to the Barwell family for their investment, as an organisation Northampton Saints has been financially self-sustaining and profitable for over a decade, a record unparalleled anywhere in UK professional sport. All profits have been re-invested into the club, something which is now paying dividend on the pitch and in the continued development of the Franklin's Gardens stadium.
