Jon Curry

Jon Curry

Jon Curry arrived at Franklin's Gardens with a pedigree of having helped shape the careers of some of England's top players. As head of Leicester's player development centre in Norfolk, Curry nurtured England duo Ben and Tom Youngs and at one stage under his tenure around 40 percent of the Tigers' Academy had come from the county, something unprecedented for what is historically a small rugby region.

Jon also led North Walsham RFC in the national leagues for seven years as director of rugby - in which time the club was the highest-ranked non-paying team in the country - before heading to Spain. There he spent the last four years, initially working with the national team and latterly with Seville club Cajasol Ciencias.
