Northampton Saints : Matchday

The Saints ran in eight tries as they demolished London Wasps and at the same time sealed their place in the LV= Cup semi-finals. First ever Saints tries for Andy Long, James Craig and a double from Noah Cato put the gloss on the dominant performance.

Saturday's game against London Wasps is crucial for the Saints and their LV= Cup ambitions, and as always with the cup competitions the qualification permutations are both straightforward and complex at the same time! The Saints has led the way in English rugby with the quality of our match day experience, and before most home games there is plenty more rugby to be seen with our famous tournaments.

Tournaments are held for all ages, from Under-7 right up to Under-16, including the Land Rover Premiership Cup for Under-11 and Under-12. Clubs come to Franklin's Gardens from across the east of England - and beyond! - to compete on the first team's training pitches, with the winners and runners-up receiving their prizes on the main pitch at half-time.

These tournaments have another purpose - the Saints Academy coaches will be watching and the best talent from Under-13 upwards may be invited back to train with one of Saints' Elite Player Development Groups. Match day coaching

If you are a junior rugby club, school or community group, you can receive coaching from the Saints Community team and players before the big match!

Availability may be limited due to tournament activity, but we will try to accommodate you as much as possible! Email the Community team for more information by clicking here

In 2011/12 we will be running a RugbyTots session before every home game at Great Houghton Prep School. More information will be published closer to the start of the season.

Group ticket deals

Even if it's not your birthday you can still have a party at Franklin's Gardens. For just £19 per child (min 6 children) you get a match ticket, welcomes in the match-day programme and from the stadium announcer, coaching session with Saints players, visit from Bernie, lunch in Heroes Bar and a goodie bag.
