Prior to the game against Biarritz the community department held a coaching session for 20 or so Dunstablians and the Junior Saints along with Wellingborough School U14s.
The Dunstablians and Saints minis were treated to a session with Tim Marston and former All Black Andrew Blowers. All who took part thoroughly enjoyed the session and hopefully picked up a few tips from Andrew and Tim.
The Wellingborough lads were a very competent bunch and undertook the session with a great deal of flair. I took the forwards for some skill work, while new Saints star John Leslie put the backs through their paces. We then brought the backs and forwards together for an unopposed team run.
Nick Elbourne, head of PE at Wellingborough School, said: "This was a very useful session for us and the lads have learned a lot from the pros. It has been an all round fantastic day, we even gained some money back through the CashBack scheme."
Thanks to all that took part on Saturday, we will be doing the same thing during the rest of the season.
