Based in the marketing department and reporting to the Marketing Manager, the intern will help in implementing marketing campaigns across a variety of new media.
Knowledge of social media and computer literacy in general is a must. An understanding of website content management systems and the important of brand and style guidelines is preferred, but full training will be given.
The internship can be either full or part-time, and the club is prepared to be flexible for the right candidate.
Starting in January 2011 and running until the end of May 2011, the internship is unpaid, but previous occupants in the position have gone on to work in the marketing departments of other sports and leisure related companies, so this can be a great springboard into the sports marketing industry.
