Although the Saints have had a winning start to the 2010/11 Heineken Cup campaign, the Round 6 trip to Castres will be crucial in the team's hopes of reaching the knock-out stages for a second successive season.

It is also the first time that the Saints will have travelled to that particular part of southern France and will therefore be an opportunity for supporters to experience something new in European rugby.

The club is provisionally looking to book a trip that will depart the UK on Friday, January 21st, 2011 and return on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011, with the exact times depending on the exact day and time of the fixture (this will be confirmed after the conclusion of Round 4 in December).

On paper, the Saints will head into this Saturday's Aviva Premiership Final - their first - against most people's strong favourite in Leicester. That said, Courtney Lawes believes the Twickenham tussle will be a one-off with the Saints more than capable of holding their own.
