Last year KSIT received an award from the All-Party Parliamentary Rugby Union Group, and this year over 550 Year 5 and 6 students from the Wellingborough area have been lined up for sessions throughout November and December, with the programme rolling out into Northampton and Corby later in the season.
Head of community Sian Haynes said that KSIT is a great example of the work done by the Saints Community team.
"We know that we can use rugby to help improve young peoples' lives," she said. "But in many cases we have to use expertise from elsewhere to make sure that our programmes are as comprehensive as possible. This is the case with Kick Smoking Into Touch, and the success we have had with it over the past few years would not be possible without the help and support of our programme partners."
