The Gardens goes Rio for festival inspired Singha Sevens!

Franklin’s Gardens will be a wash of vibrant colours, feather headdresses and a carnival atmosphere when the Singha Premiership Sevens comes to town on July 29th.

To celebrate the sport’s upcoming introduction to the Olympic games at Rio 2016, the Saints’ leg of the competition will embrace the party city's spirit, with entertainment and music throughout the evening surrounding the theme.

Prizes will be given out for the best dressed supporters, while between matches there will also be a variety of challenges and games for young and old.

It promises to be a fantastic evening out – and that’s even before you take into account the action on the field!

A Saints sevens team – that in the past has blooded the likes of Harry Mallinder, Teimana Harrison and Mikey Haywood in the tournament – will welcome reigning Premiership and European champions Saracens, twice Premiership Rugby Sevens winners Gloucester, and a Harlequins side renowned for their attacking style of play, both in the sevens and XVs game.

With tickets starting from just £6 for juniors and concessions or £12 for adults, there really is no better way to spend a summer’s evening in Northampton, welcoming the long awaited return of rugby in the process!

CLICK HERE to book tickets online now and keep an eye on the Saints website and social media over the coming weeks for further announcements of activities and attractions on the night.
