Northampton Saints vs Leicester Tigers

Saints try everything to break through. Naiyaravoro, Haywood and Dingwall team up out wide before it comes back the other way. Saints are desperately searching for that gap.

Kellaway looks to break before Mallinder pushes on. And Saints have the penalty too. Biggar clears but doesn't find touch. Ford returns but Biggar takes the quick lineout. 

Tigers turn the ball over though and try to come forwards. Saints work hard to hold them though and Harrison is forced to box. 

Knock on from Tigers at the lineout and Saints will have the scrum. 

Dingwall enters play for his Saints debut as Burrell makes way. And Wood returns from injury to make his first appearance of the season with Gibson making way.

A few resets a the scrum but Mitchell gets the ball away eventually. Biggar clears and Holmes charges forwards. Saints get over the ball and steal it though. Mitchell darts through but is pushed into touch. Lineout Tigers near their own 22. 

Tigers maul from the lineout but Saints hold them well before Ribbans earns the turnover and the scrum. 

Tuilagi nearly breaks but Saints hold him. Tigers get close but knock on and Biggar clears. Lineout Tigers back near halfway.

Tigers pressure at the restart and earn the scrum as the ball is deemed unplayable. 

Ludlam is replaced by Eadie as we get back underway.

Biggar can't add the conversion though.

Both Youngs make way for Tigers, with McMillan and Harrison taking their places.

Tigers are penalised for being offside as they clear their own lineout and Biggar sends the ball into the corner.

Co-skippers Hartley and Waller make way for Haywood and van Wyk as we set for the lineout.

Harrison charges over from the base and gets within inches but he's just short. The ball comes wide to Collins but Tigers earn the penalty there. Ford sends it to touch. 

Scrappy at the scrum and Tigers knock on. Another set then, this time to Saints. 

Franks and Mitchell enter the fray with Painter and Reinach making way.

Saints knock and Tigers look to clear. It looks like Biggar is over after he charges it down but we come back for the knock on and the scrum. 

Another penalty comes for Saints and it's another lineout in the corner.

Another penalty for Saints comes after they build up the phases. Biggar sends it to the corner.

Mallinder takes Eastmond's clearing kick before the ball comes wide to Collins. The winger races through before Saints get close. The penalty comes and Ribbans takes it quickly...

Holmes nearly breaks but Reinach takes him down. Tigers clear but Collins is there and he clears well. Lineout Tigers inside their own half. 

Tigers pressure though and force the mistake from Saints. Youngs hacks the loose ball through and though Biggar is there, he's isolated and Tigers get the penalty. Ford points to the posts.

Mallinder sends a brilliant kick through and though Ford is there he's pressured. Saints have the ball again and play on and Reinach clears. Tigers take it but their high ball finds Saints hands.

Tigers look to come forwards but knock on and Saints play on. Collins chips through after the advantage is over and Tigers return. Naiyaravoro takes on four men before he's taken down. Reinach clears off the ruck and Tigers do the same. 

Harrison charges off the base before Biggar charges forwards. Reinach sends it to Mallinder to clear and the fullback does. Lineout Tigers near halfway.

Tigers maul but it comes sideways and Saints earn the scrum. 

Tigers come forwards before earning a penalty at the breakdown. Tigers send it into the corner for a lineout.

Tigers maul but Reinach strips the ball there and Biggar clears to touch. Lineout Tigers back at the 22.

Biggar sends a brilliant cross field over the Mallinder who sets Kellaway free but we come back as Mallinder was deemed offside at the kick. Ford sends the resulting penalty into the corner.

Tigers look to maul from the lineout but Saints hold it up and earn the scrum.

Tigers somehow turn over but their clearance finds Mallinder and Saints push forwards before clearing themselves. Tigers send a high ball up and while Saints get there, Tigers earn the penalty at the breakdown. Ford sends it to touch. 

Harrison moves the ball out quickly and Reinach chips over the top. Kellaway is in chase but Tigers just get there first. They clear for a Saints lineout just outside the Tigers 22. 

Tigers maul forwards for the lineout but Saints work hard to hold it up and earn the scrum. 

Mallinder takes Tigers' clearance well before Saints push on. Reinach boxes but no one can put claim to it and Tigers have the lineout.

Reinach returns as we restart too.

Biggar gets things restarted here at Twickenham!

... sends the conversion into the upright though and we enter the break.

Harrison scurries forwards off the base before Biggar has a go. The forwards use the phases to get it close... We're with the TMO...

Free kick to Saints at the scrum and Saints opt for one of their own.

Denton comes off for a HIA with Mapapalangi entering play. 

Saints are close again but Doyle deems their maul for the line to have been held up and Tigers have the scrum. 

Scrum Saints and Harrison gets within inches off the base. Saints' forwards are pushing again but are held up again. Scrum five again.

Ludlam pressures well at the scrum and Saints earn the turnover. A beatiful chip to himself gets Kellaway close before Saints are held up over the line. 

A lovely switch move from Hartley off the lineout sends Naiyaravoro barrelling into the 22. And though Saints keep pushing a knock on earns Tigers the scrum. 

Tigers clear the restart and Saints have the lineout just outside the away 22. 

Blood replacement for Saints as Reinach leave the field, he's replaced by Mitchell.

Collins replaces Tuala as we restart.

Overthrow from Tigers at the lineout and Hartley scoops it up. Saints push themselves back over the halfway line before Reinach clears. Tigers do the same and Saints forwards take the ball on before Biggar sends the high ball up. 

Ford chips over for Tuilagi to chase but Mallinder collects brilliantly. Saints play on but Reinach is just pushed into touch. Lineout Tigers just inside Saints' half.

Ribbans slaps the lineout down to Harrison and Saints push forwards.Kellaway nearly breaks through before Gibson makes some ground. We come back for a knock on picked up by the TMO though and Tigers have the scrum. 

Eastmond clears the restart this time and Saints will have the lineout inside Tigers half.

Penalty Tigers at the scrum and Ford opts for the posts.

Free kick Tigers at the scrum and they opt for the same again.

They too clear and Saints play on again.Tuala breaks and makes it almost up to the 22 before there's some disruption at the ruck. Tigers seem to knock on but we play on until they do so again. Scrum Saints just inside their own half. 

Youngs sends the high ball up after receiving the drop. Biggar is there and Saints push forwards before Reinach boxes. Biggar is under it but the ball finds Tigers hands.

No conversion from Biggar in the horrendously wet conditions but Mallinder clears strongly from the restart. Lineout Tigers inside their own half.

Penalty to Saints at the lineout as Cole is penalised and the home side opt to replay it.

We're playing an advantage to Saints and eventually we come back to it. Biggar sends it deep into the corner. Lineout Saints.

Biggar clears off the base of the scrum and though Holmes is there, Tigers are forced to clear and Saints have the linnet again.

Saints look to whip the ball wide and though it's too flat for Biggar to get there, Tuilagi knocks on. Scrum Saints.

Ford clears from the base of the scrum and Saints will have the lineout on halfway. 

Mallinder puts a period of aerial tennis with a sublime kick to touch. Saints turnover at the lineout too and get close before a knock on is spotted. Scrum Tigers.

May leaves the field clutching his arm with Olowofela coming into play. 

The high ball comes up from Tigers and Biggar is under it. Reinach sends the ball to Mallinder to clear. Ford scramble back before sending the ball into touch. Lineout Saints on halfway.

Saints get a good shove on but the penalty goes Tigers' way. Ford sends it to touch but Reinach works hard and manages to keep the ball in. Mallinder clears and Tigers play on around halfway. 

Disruptoion at the lineout and Tigers seem to get the ball but we come back for the knock on from Saints for the first scrum of the game. 

The fly half then clears the restart well for a Saints lineout on halfway.

A rocky start for Saints as Biggar gets turned over as the restart is returned by the away team. Tigers pressure and eventually earn a penalty for their effort. Ford points for the posts.
