The first few age group match day tournaments have been announced, including the 10th anniversary Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cups.
The Under-11 and Under-12 Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cups are always two of the most popular dates on the calendar here at Franklin’s Gardens, not least because they give aspiring young players the opportunity to play in a competitive event and meet professional please.
This season’s Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cups will be played on the back pitches at Franklin’s Gardens on Saturday, September 30th (Under-11s) and Saturday, October 28th (Under-12s).
One team from each age group will receive a trip to the 2018 Aviva Premiership Rugby Final at Twickenham on May 26th, where they will meet a Land Rover rugby ambassador, join in a Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup ‘Testimonial Season’ parade around the pitch at half-time and hear who has won a club MVP award.
In its 10 years the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup has seen more than 70,000 young rugby players take part across the country.
Every age group tournament is always a highlight, with teams:
- Playing on the same pitches where the Saints train
- Take part in a half-time parade around the pitch in the main stadium
- Receiving special group ticket deals for players and their families
