Thursday, January 11, 2018

Northampton Saints can today announce a new signing in Mirus IT Solutions, with the Club appointing the Milton Keynes-based firm as its Official IT Services Partner on a multi-year arrangement.

Mirus are a leading provider of Managed IT Services, Disaster Recovery and Cloud Migrations across Milton Keynes, Northampton, and surrounding areas.

As part of the arrangement Mirus will provide an all-inclusive package to the Saints, encompassing desktop support through to back end infrastructure monitoring and disaster recovery services – allowing the Club to focus on delivering success on the pitch.

“We maintain our ambition to become the very best club in England and across Europe, and to do that we need to have the best support team and infrastructure possible,” said Mark Darbon, Northampton Saints CEO.

“Mirus IT put a huge emphasis on making their all-round service second to none, and we are delighted to have them as our Official IT Services Partner for the next two-and-a-half years.

“Having a fast and reliable IT service is absolutely vital for a company like Northampton Saints, as it is for any professional sports club.”

Mirus’ award-winning team will deliver a 24/7 managed IT service for the Saints’ playing end as well as all the Club’s support team – monitoring the club’s infrastructure to ensure day to day health, providing comprehensive security updates, and the creation and implementation of a long-term IT plan.

Dan Sharp, Mirus’ Sales Director, said: “As a local business we are delighted to partner with the Saints – the team can’t wait for us to get started.  We’re looking forward to working with them to help develop further their IT strategy as well as implement our day to day IT support services.

“This is one of the leading sports clubs in the country, and we know just how much it means to the people of the town and the business community.

“I hope we can plan our part in helping the Saints realise their aspirations for their future development; both on and off the field.”

As part of the partnership Mirus IT will receive a suite of commercial rights including advertising and access to match day tickets.
