The Chris Kokta Memorial Trust was set up to help support young people through the game of rugby. The Trust assists schools, clubs, local teams and some young people who have difficulty remaining within conventional education. Each year funds will be made available to a player or players in the Northampton Saints RFU Academy to support them through their transition into the Academy and into the senior teams, and to enable them to continue with their education or training. Funds will also be made available for young people in the community who are gaining skills and enjoyment out of the game of rugby.
Young people can apply for support by completing an application form and sending it to the trust at Northampton Saints' offices. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for full details on how to apply.
The Crooked Hooker, otherwise known as the Northampton Saints Former Players' Association, is a long-time supporter of the club's Academy, providing grants for equipment and support for players.
For over 400 years Wellingborough School has been providing top quality education to young people in Northamptonshire and beyond. The past few years have seen significant investment into the school's sports facilities, and the Saints Academy is proud to be using these as a training base for both the Saints Under-18s squad and one of the club's Developing Player Programme centres.
