In The Community

Ever since its founding as a Boys’ Improvement Class in 1880, Northampton Saints has been a club at the heart of the local community.

Over 130 years later we have come full circle with a wide range of award-winning programmes that come into contact with tens of thousands of young people across Northampton as a town and the county beyond.

At the heart of what we do is the belief that the ethos of sport and that of rugby in particular – teamwork, dedication and achievement – can improve peoples’ lives.

Whether it is boosting self-esteem, confidence and educational achievement in the Study Centre, delivering exciting projects in schools, or helping teenagers get their lives back on track, the Saints is truly a community club.
