Biography

Henry Lumley became Northampton Saints’ youngest ever Gallagher PREM player when he started against Gloucester Rugby in May 2025 at 17 years and 317 days old.

Saint #2109, Lumley began his rugby at Bury St Edmunds RFC and consistently played for Finborough School and has experience in multiple positions, progressing from scrum-half to fly-half before finding his home in the centres.

The centre, who joined Saints at Under-14 level, played for Hamilton Boys in the summer of 2024 in New Zealand and earned a couple of caps for England Under-18s before a back injury hampered his involvement in the 2025 Six Nations.

Lumley featured four times in Black, Green and Gold in 2025/26, including the memorable win at Bath in the PREM in December, while he also gained experience with Cambridge in Champ Rugby.
