Biography

Hooker Curtis Langdon wasted little time in his first two seasons as a Saint, rattling his way to 50 appearances with the milestone coming in the 2024/25 Investec Champions Cup Final against Bordeaux.

Langdon’s first season in Black, Green and Gold ended in glory as he played a key role in the 2023/24 Gallagher PREM title win and was selected in the league’s Team of the Season as well as being awarded the Club’s Breakthrough Player of the Season award.

The 6’1” front row arrived at Franklin’s Gardens in the summer of 2023, following a spell spent in the Top 14 with Montpellier Hérault. Langdon headed to France following the demise of Worcester Warriors when they went into administration after just one year into his time at Sixways.

Prior to that, the Weston-Super-Mare born player spent six seasons at Sale Sharks where he scored 14 tries in 89 appearances, having previously spent time in London Irish’s academy set-up.

Langdon’s rugby CV includes international honours too; he represented England Under-20s during 2016 and 2017 before his first two senior caps came in the summer of 2021 against USA and Canada, although he had to wait four years for his third, which arrived against Argentina in July 2025.

A shoulder injury meant Langdon’s first appearance of 2025/26 did not come until March, but he recovered in time to play a full part in the run-in, which culminated with the Gallagher PREM final win over Exeter Chiefs that gave Saints their second title in three years.
