Fly-half Dan Biggar has been named Michael Jones Jewellers Player of the Month for December, after claiming over half of the votes submitted by the Club’s supporters.
The 30-year-old beat fellow nominees Mikey Haywood, Ehren Painter and Taqele Naiyaravoro to the award after a string of fantastic performances over the course of the month against Sale Sharks, Leinster Rugby and Gloucester.
Biggar will be presented with a brand-new watch, provided by Michael Jones Jewellers, at Northampton Saints’ home clash against London Irish – which falls on Friday 24 January (kick-off 7.45pm).
Saints and Michael Jones have once again joined forces this season to offer fans and players alike the chance to win fantastic prizes each month.
Voting will open for January’s award following that Gallagher Premiership showdown against Irish, with Michael Jones also offering a special prize for those that vote – one lucky supporter who votes for their Player of the Month will win a £50 Michael Jones voucher to spend in store.
This month’s winner was Darcy Whitcher, who was selected at random out of almost 600 supporters who voted.
