The Industrial Placement within the Community department at Northampton Saints will provide an opportunity to gain insight into a wide range of areas from the day-to-day running of the department, core programmes within schools and on camps, and matchday engagement. This is an exciting position for a university student from July 2026 to the end of June 2027.

Industrial Placement - Finance
Northampton Saints are delighted to be offering the opportunity for an individual with a passion for finance and accounting to join our team for a one-year industrial placement. The individual will support the day-to-day activities of the finance function including invoicing and reconciliations. They will also support on strategic analysis for a range of projects such as events, ticketing and capex.

This year‑long placement offers the opportunity to develop real‑world design experience within a professional sports organisation. Working closely with the Marketing & Communications team, you will help produce engaging, on‑brand creative across digital, print, and environmental design. Your work will support Club campaigns, commercial activity, and the visual identity of cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, contributing directly to the matchday experience for Northampton Saints supporters.

What is the process once I've submitted my application?
All applications will be reviewed by the hiring manager in the first instance. Shortlisting will then be completed, and the candidates best matching the required skills and experience for the role will be invited for interview.
The interview process may vary depending on the role, but many hiring managers will choose to undertake a Microsoft Teams video call in the first instance, followed by a second round in person. Some application processes may involve an assessment activity.
If your application is unsuccessful, we will endeavour to let you know as soon as we can. Sometimes this is not possible if we receive a particularly high volume of applications.
