Affiliated Clubs

Launched in 2020, Northampton Saints’ Club Affiliation Initiative aims to build stronger links within grassroots rugby clubs across the East Midlands and Eastern Counties, and ultimately to establish a network of clubs which will be supported in their development to make rugby more accessible for all.

Affiliate clubs also get access to a wealth of support, including:

Ticket Access to nominated* Saints and Lightning games at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens
Entry into the Club of the Match ballot each season
Kickback for hosting camps
Access to the community message board and forum
A place on the Northampton Saints Community Conference
Community support at your club events
Website presence and club promotion

Affiliate clubs must have a mini and junior section, be within the Northampton Saints Academy borders and be RFU accredited.

Affiliate status will be open to new clubs each season, with the aim of expanding the scheme to branch out into Northamptonshire's surrounding counties in the future, welcoming more and more clubs to join.

CLUB OF THE MATCH

BECOME SAINTS’ OR LIGHTNING’S CLUB OF THE MATCH

Northampton Saints’ ‘Club of the Match’ initiative gives junior rugby clubs the chance to get closer to their favourite Saints or Lightning stars while enjoying being centre stage on a matchday at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

Our Club of the Match initiative is available on all Northampton Saints and Loughborough Lightning fixtures for all afiliated Clubs, and will include the following:

Discounted tickets for your Club of the Match fixture
‘Guard of Honour’ opportunity at kick off (up to 30 children are required for this)
Playing Jersey signed by the whole squad and presented by one of the players on matchday
Feature for your club in the Matchday Programme
1hr Coaching Session for your minis & juniors on your COTM fixture (held on the training pitches at cinch stadium at Franklin’s Gardens prior to kick-off)
Half-time parade and photo opportunity under posts
Interview pre-match in the fan village on the Big Screen to promote your club (currently Northampton Saints fixtures only)
