Harry Mallinder has been nominated for the RPA’s LV= Young Player of the Year award.
A member of the Senior Academy, 2015/16 has been Mallinder’s breakthrough season after he has become a regular in the first team squad, making a real impression at both centre and full back.
The award is voted for by the players and all nominees must have been 23 years or younger at the start of the season.
The other nominees are Harry Thacker (Leicester Tigers), Maro Itoje (Saracens), Elliott Daly (Wasps) and Jack Clifford (Harlequins).
The trophy is named in memory of Nick Duncombe, the Harlequins and England scrum half who tragically died aged just 21, and will be presented to the winner at the RPA Players’ Awards 2016, in association with England Rugby, on Wednesday, May 11th at the Battersea Evolution in London.
