In another good weekend for Saints players in the Six Nations, Paul Hill earnt his first cap for England while George North scored the winner for Wales.

Hill came off the bench at the Stadio Olympico to earn his first England cap, while Courtney Lawes was his usual destructive self both at the breakdown and in the loose.

Dylan Hartley maintained his 100 percent winning record as England captain in this year’s tournament, and all three will look continue their form into England’s crunch clash with Ireland at Twickenham in a fortnight’s time, a game supporters can watch on the TVs throughout the Franklin’s Gardens bars after the Saints’ Aviva Premiership match against Worcester.

In Cardiff on Saturday George North starred as Wales condemned Scotland to a second straight defeat - keeping their title ambitions alive as Ireland faltered against France.

With the game hanging in the balance, North ran a trademark line coming off his wing, beat four Scottish players before showing his pace to score in the corner. Despite Duncan Taylor’s last-gasp try, it was Wales that took the spoils.

In the U20 Six Nations, Rory Hutchinson was unlucky to be on the losing side in Colwyn Bay on Friday night, scoring a penalty and landing a conversion in Scotland’s 18-15 defeat to Wales.

All of England’s Six Nations games are being shown live in the Members Bar at Franklin’s Gardens, with all of the other bars also showing the action on the same days as a Saints home game.
