Northampton Saints are delighted to today announce a new, five-year partnership agreement with ISEKI UK & Ireland, who become the Club’s Official Agricultural and Turf Care Machinery Supplier.
ISEKI will supply tractors, mowing machines, and electric vehicles to the Club for use by the Grounds Staff in their work around the cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens site – which boasts what is widely regarded as the best all-natural pitch in the Gallagher Premiership, as well as a world-class outdoor training pitch and indoor training centre.
ISEKI UK & Ireland distributes and supports, through its network of dealers, the ISEKI range of Compact Tractors and Mowers.
Founded in 1926 in Japan, ISEKI has led the world in the development and manufacturing of agricultural and horticultural machinery, and has been represented in Europe for over 50 years.
“The opportunity to work with such a respected and long-established Club is very exciting for both me and the team at ISEKI,” said David Withers, Managing Director of ISEKI UK & Ireland.
“We have historically had a close relationship with England Rugby, and now directly supporting one of the top Clubs in the Gallagher Premiership offers us the opportunity to use the fantastic facilities at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens to showcase our machinery to both existing and prospective customers.”David Withers, Managing Director of ISEKI UK & Ireland
“Our local dealer, Turney Group, were extremely helpful in introducing us to Saints’ Head Groundsperson, Andy Miller, and the rest of the management team at the Gardens.
“Saints share our excitement at being able to work together going forward, and we will certainly be making extensive use of the facilities for both matchdays utilising our box, and for events and meetings at the Club in the future.”
As part of the deal, Saints have been supplied with an ISEKI TG 6687 HST 67hp tractor (with loader), which will be used for both on and off pitch work.
ISEKI have also supplied a SXG327 54” ride-on grass collecting mower, and a TXGS24 sub-compact tractor for use on the High Performance Centre’s indoor pitches. Other products will be used by the Club at various points throughout the year.
Northampton’s Head Groundsperson, Andy Miller, added: “Our ambition at Saints is to set the highest standards in every area of the business, and that rings true in how we rigorously maintain our award-winning stadium pitch and training facilities.
“Having the highest-quality training and playing surfaces is vital in allowing the team to perform to their best on matchday, and in working alongside ISEKI UK & Ireland we are excited to play our part in the Club’s successes on the pitch.”Andy Miller, Saints’ Head Groundsperson
“We’re looking forward to working closely alongside the team at ISEKI for the next five years.”
