Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

Alaister and Georgina Pawley, Sian and Ffion Williams, Jon Baynham and Andy Campbell (who is flying in from Chicago to undertake the challenge) will be attempting to hill-walk the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in just one day.

Starting at 5pm on August 1st they will be aiming to get to the top of Ben Nevis (Scotland, 4,409ft), Scafell Pike (England, 3,209ft) and Snowdon (Wales, 3,560ft) within a 24 hour period. This will also include 486 miles of driving.

The Leon Barwell Foundation is in turn supporting Denis Wright, who was diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma, an incurable form of brain cancer, last Christmas. Denis has endured 30 rounds of radiotherapy and 90 rounds of chemotherapy to have as much time with his wife and two young children as he can, and now needs constant care from family and friends.

The Leon Barwell Foundation supports families affected by cancer by helping them create memories that last a lifetime. The Foundation focuses on helping parents who are living day-to-day with the disease and giving them the opportunity to enjoy unique occasions that will be cherished forever.
