Tuala scored one try and set up another in Samoa’s opening win over the USA in the opening rounds of matches, but missed his country’s second game, a dramatic 30-all draw with Island rivals, Fiji.
The Samoans had held on in the second half against the Eagles, but had to stage a fightback themselves against Fiji, coming from 27-15 down just before the hour to secure a share of the points with a last-minute penalty.
Their unbeaten record means that Samoa go into the final round top of Pool 1, but needing a positive result to stay ahead of Japan in the run for the competition’s final.
Meanwhile Canada may be win-less so far, but have the home advantage which comes from playing at BMO Field in Toronto.
Live coverage of the game will be at www.worldrugby.org/pnc from 11:30pm on Wednesday evening.
