Although the squad is dominated by the Saints Senior Academy it contains several players with plenty of experience of senior rugby, either in the Aviva 'A' League or on dual registration in The Championship or National League One.
Half a dozen members of the squad - Ethan Waller, Darrell Dyer, Tom Collins, Ryan Glynn, Alex Day and Anders Mogensen - also played in the JP Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby Sevens Series last season, and represented the Saints in the Bury St Edmunds Sevens in May.
Friday's action from Edgeley Park - the last senior rugby to be being played on the ground before Sale Sharks move to Salford - is being shown exclusively live on ESPN from 7:30pm.
