Northampton Saints forward Jack Lewis will captain England U18 for the first time when they take on Georgia in the 2026 Under-18 Men’s Six Nations Festival this week.
Lewis has been selected at No.8 for Tuesday’s clash at Stade Louis Darragon (kick-off: 12.15pm UK time), and is joined in the starting line-up by club mates Charlie Tamani, who features on the left wing, and Sonny Goode is at scrum-half.
Completing the Saints quartet in the matchday squad is Aiden Reid, who is named among the replacements.
England U18 suffered their first loss in the competition since 2023 when they went down 31-36 to Ireland on Friday. They conclude their three-game tournament on Saturday against Italy.
England U18 Head Coach Jonathan Pendlebury said: “While the result against Ireland wasn’t what we wanted, there were clear learnings in how the group showed cohesion, real attacking intent and a willingness to explore opportunities with the ball.
“From our warm-up against France, there were levels up from us on both sides of the ball as we continue to build on core fundamental skills and tactical awareness of the game at the next level.
“We’re seeing this young side mature, take greater ownership and continue adapting to the demands of international rugby, which is exactly what this pathway is about.
“Now the focus turns to Georgia, and we’re excited by the opportunity to build on those positives and show our growth as a group.”
