Northampton Saints is delighted to announce that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens will host England U20 Men’s 2026 Six Nations fixture against Wales – with tickets on sale NOW for 2025/26 Saints Season Ticket Holders during an exclusive 48-hour window!
The Anglo-Welsh match-up is in the opening round of next year’s tournament and takes place on Friday 6 February (kick-off: 7.45pm). It promises to be a thrilling head-to-head, with eight-time U20 Six Nations winners England looking to avenge their 23-13 defeat in the 2025 edition of the age-grade tournament back in March.
It will be the first time six years that a men’s pathway game has been hosted at cinch Stadium, when an England U20 side led by Richard Whiffin went down 21-39 to Ireland.
There promises to be a strong Saints presence on the night with seven players selected in the England U20 Elite Performance Squad for the 2025/26 season, which was announced in September.
The match will provide yet another opportunity for rugby lovers to watch international rugby at cinch Stadium – fresh from home hosting six games during the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup in the summer!
England’s other home match in the 2026 U20 Six Nations will be staged at Bath’s Recreation Ground on Friday 20 February (kick-off: 7.45pm).

“Recent years have shown an increase in attention on pathway fixtures, with big occasions that have supported our players in developing their talents in front of fantastic crowds.
“I’m grateful to our hosts in Bath and Northampton in allowing us to begin our journey in such storied stadiums as we look to collectively earn our way to regaining top honours in 2026.”
