Harry Mallinder has been named in England’s World Rugby Under-20 Championship squad.

The Saints centre/full back is one of 28 players chosen to represent England at the Championship, which is taking place in Manchester this year.

England are in Pool B and will face Italy, Scotland and Australia.

England’s recent record in the tournament is strong. They were crowned champions in 2013 and 2014, and have also reached the final a further four times since 2008, including last year.

The squad will meet on Sunday, May 22nd for a training camp in Newcastle before their matches at the Manchester City Academy Stadium against Italy (7th June) and Scotland (11th June), before facing Australia at the AJ Bell Stadium on 15th June.

England's match against Scotland could see Mallinder come up against fellow Saints player Rory Hutchinson who has been selected as part of Scotland's squad for the Championship.

Scotland will face Australia at the AJ Bell Stadium (7th June) before their matches against England and Italy (15th June), both of which will be held at the Manchester City Academy Stadium.
