Saints v Saracens important for both clubs, says Dallaglio

The BT Sport pundit visited stadiummk last week in his capacity as an England Rugby 2015 ambassador. And with his experiences winning both the Rugby World Cup and multiple Premiership titles he is well placed to comment on the importance of a game like this in the context of the run-in towards the Aviva Premiership semi-finals.

“We’re now down to the business end of the Aviva Premiership season and every game is important, with more significance,” he told SaintsTV. “This is a re-match of last year’s final; that in itself gives you the billing of this match.

“The Saints have been going well to be at the top of the Aviva Premiership, but getting an opportunity to beat a quality side like Saracens will be key for them. They’ve been having a bit of a wobble, but will be determined to show people that they can retain their title in a competitive league.

“Saracens have been grinding out results, getting people back from injury, but they’ve gone to the Ricoh Arena and taken away Wasps’ home record, and gone to Paris and won in the Champions Cup, so they’ll arrive in good shape.

”It promises to be a fascinating contest on April 25th.”

Already Saints are guaranteed their biggest ever home attendance, which is also part of England Rugby 2015’s testing programme ahead of stadiummk’s three Rugby World Cup matches in October. And Dallaglio says that the ticket sales for April 25th and the October trio of international clashes show that there is demand for the top level of the sport in this part of England.

“There’s a real appetite for top class rugby in Milton Keynes,” he added. “The venue has hosted big matches in the past, the big game in a couple of weeks, and then the three Rugby World Cup matches in October.”

Tickets for the Aviva Premiership clash between the Saints and Saracens are now on general sale through Ticketmaster. Head to www.tinyurl.com/SAI-SAR-1415 and follow the straightforward instructions to book online 24/7.

Hospitality packages are also available for supporters who want to make a special day of it at stadiummk, including a four-course meal, unique insight from Saints players before and after the match, complimentary house wine, draught beer and soft drinks, and post-match refreshments.
