Three further Saints have been selected to represent the men in Black, Green and Gold on the international stage as the Nations Championship gets back underway.
The Northampton Saints duo of Danilo Fischetti and Ion Neculai have both been selected for Italy’s squad, while Rory Hutchinson is also picked to represent Scotland.
With a cumulative total of over 80 caps between the trio, they take Saints’ representation at the Nations Championship to 12, alongside their nine English counterparts.
The Nations Championship Finals conclude at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, on the weekend of 28/29 November, with fixtures determined by the placings of northern and southern hemisphere countries across these games and the ones played in July of this year.
Italy will be hoping for their first win of the tournament when they take on the World Champions, South Africa, in Turin first up, before taking on Argentina and Fiji in subsequent rounds.
As for Hutchinson and Scotland, they currently sit second with two wins from three in the summer leg of competition and host New Zealand in the opening round before going on to face Australia and then Japan.
