Phil Dowson’s side reached the Final of last season’s competition and will hope to go one better this term when the pool stages get underway in December.
Saints will break new ground as they kick-off the tournament with a trip to Pau, facing Section Paloise (Sunday 7 December, kick-off: 2pm*) for the first time in the two sides’ histories. Then a re-match of last season’s Final takes place in Round 3, when Northampton face Bordeaux at Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas (Sunday 11 January, kick-off: 4.15pm*) for the first time.
