Christian Day, Jamie Gibson and Tom Kessell have been shortlisted for the Steffans Player of the Month for November - and the final decision is up to you!
Long-time servant of the club Christian Day has earned 195 caps for the club since joining in 2008 from Sale Sharks. Playing in four games this season since making his return from injury, Day captained Saints’ young guns to an unbeaten start to the Anglo-Welsh Cup well as scoring the club's 1,000th try in Premiership Rugby last weekend against Newcastle.
Fellow forward, Jamie Gibson, is also shortlisted for the prize. Gibson’s consistency in his appearances for Saints so far this season is what has earned him the recognition. Playing in 11 of 13 games so far across the various competitions, Gibson’s relentless work rate puts him in Saints’ top three highest tacklers and top of the list for most lineouts won.
Last but by no means least, Tom Kessell has featured in seven games this season so far including all four games in November. A match winning try against Gloucester to end October set the nine up for starts in both Anglo-Welsh Cup games, while Kessell also made an impact as an early replacement in the Aviva Premiership win over Worcester.
The Player of the Month receives a prize from award sponsors Steffans.
