Thank you Saints: Say a fond farewell to our leavers after Saturday’s match!

This Saturday at 3.05pm, Northampton Saints take on Gloucester Rugby at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens – their final regular-season home game of the 2023/24 Gallagher Premiership campaign in front of a sell-out crowd.

The men in Black, Green and Gold head into the match knowing that their destiny is in their own hands regarding a semi-final match on home soil, with a bonus-point win over the Cherry & Whites guaranteeing another knock-out fixture at the Gardens.

Saturday’s game will also mark the end-of-season Leavers Ceremony, which began back in 2017.

Supporters will be able to say a fond farewell to those Saints players who will be departing the Club this summer – with the likes of Alex Waller, Courtney Lawes, Lewis Ludlam, Paul Hill, Ethan Waller and Alex Moon all bidding a fond farewell to the Gardens, it will be an event not to be missed.

Please note, this year the ceremony will be a little different to usual, so please read through the information below carefully…

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • We will not be allowing supporters onto the pitch after the full-time whistle because we need to protect our all-natural grass playing surface in case we qualify for a home semi-final match.
  • All supporters must stay in their seats to watch the presentation – which will take place on a stage on the halfway line – rather than moving onto (or to the side) of the pitch.
  • The presentation will be shown on the big screens and broadcast via the stadium’s PA system, and start approximately 15 minutes after the full-time whistle.
  • If supporters leave the stands to move beside the pitch, they will be asked to return to their seats or depart the stadium, as this creates a health and safety issue.
  • A cordon will be in place from the full-time whistle onwards, so supporters who sit in the seats around the tunnel (Blocks 19 and 20), may be asked to take an alternative route back to their seats should they move away between the full-time whistle and the start of the presentation.
  • We ask you to help us give our players the send-off they deserve by complying with these instructions, and remaining in your seats for the presentation.
