Loughborough Lightning return to Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby action as league leaders Gloucester-Hartpury visit cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday 12 May (kick-off: 3pm).

Nathan Smith’s side go into the encounter off the back of successive Allianz Cup victories over Sale Sharks, and will welcome back a host of big-name stars who featured during the Guinness Women’s Six Nations.

Reigning champions Gloucester-Hartpury have won all 13 of their league fixtures so far this season to build a 14-point lead at the top of the table. Sunday will be the third time the sides have met this season, as Lightning narrowly lost 19-17 in September’s Cup game before claiming a tryscoring bonus point in the reverse league fixture in January as Gloucester-Hartpury ran out 42-24 winners.
