Dragons vs Northampton Saints

Time's up here as Dragons whip it wide off the lineout.

Penalty Dragons at the breakdown though and Davies sends it into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Coles claims the lineout and Saints push into the Dragons 22 once more. 

Harrison takes the lineout and Saints maul forwards again. They earn a penalty there too! Grayson sends it to the corner. 

Penalty Saints as Dingwall is held by his tackler. Grayson sends it to touch for a lineout just inside Dragons' half. 

Taylor boxes the restart and though Dragons come forwards, Dingwall intercepts a stray pass and Saints push one once more. 

Painter is replaced by Heffernan as we restart – with the replacement prop becoming Saints #2030 in the process!

Saints play again from their own 22. 

Coles is up for the lineout again and Saints maul forwards. There's an advantage coming for Saints as they whip the ball wide. Naiyaravoro dots down in the corner and we're with the TMO to check the score.

Grayson sends this one into the corner and Saints will have the lineout there.

Saints tap and go quickly and make progress before Adendorff is hit with an high shot and Saints have another penalty. 

Saints charge forwards and Fish pushes up to the five metre line now. 

Dragons steal the lineout and Davies clears but his kick finds Naiyaravoro and Saints push on into the 22 once more. 

Mitchell is replaced by Taylor as we set the lineout.

Advantage coming for Saints and eventually we come back for it. Grayson sends the penalty to the corner. 

Hutchinson and Grayson link up to get Saints moving forwards of the lineout and Saints push on again.

Adendorff returns to the field and Tonks makes way for him. 

Aerial tennis ensues and Saint pressure well as Williams looks to clear. They pin Dragons back in their now 22 and Davies is forced to clear to touch. Lineout Saints just outside Dragons' 22. 

Moon is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards. Mitchell has the ball slapped out of his hands as he tries to get it away and Dragons play on. 

Dragons rip the ball out of Saints' hands but the away side defend hard and Collins gets over the ball to earn Saints the penalty at the breakdown. Grayson sends it into the corner.

Grayson nudges the conversion shy of the left upright but Tuala is under the restart. Mitchell finds Fish to push Saints out of their own 22. 

Hutchinson finds Naiyaravoro and Saints have an advantage coming. Still they push.

Tuala takes the ball as Dragons return the restart and Harrison charges into Dragons' 22 now. 

Dragons think they've scored through Brown but it's with the TMO to check if there was a forward pass in the build up. 

Saints defend the resulting maul for their lives and force Dragons to send the ball out. The home side push up to the five metre line now.

Waller and Collins enter play, with Auterac and Sleightholme making way as we set the lineout again.

Dragons look to maul the lineout but Saints hold them. The ball comes wide and is dinked through to the try line. Tuala is there but with advantage being played from the lineout we come back for a Dragons penalty. 

Saints are back to full strength as we set the lineout and Matavesi replaces Adendorff as we restart. 

Saints send the restart back Dragons way and the home side push forwards but when Saints hold them. Wainwright dinks it through to space in behind. Tuala races back but he's pushed into touch just after. Lineout Dragons inside Saints' 22. 

Fish has replaced Haywood too.

Tuala replaces Mallinder as we restart. 

Williams boxes over Saints' line but Mallinder is there and he sends it long. The Dragons fullback returns and Naiyaravoro is under it. He charges back up to halfway and Saints push again.

Williams sends the restart back Mallinder's way and he finds Mitchell to clear to touch. Lineout Dragons on halfway. 

Solid at the scrum and Dragons whip is wide quickly. 

Haywood gets over the ball but the referee was still playing advantage to Dragons and we come back for it. They choose the scrum again.

Advantage coming to Dragons as they look to push on the five metre line. Saints' defence is holding but still the home side push. 

Dragons edge forwards but as Saints hold them, Williams dinks it through. Mitchell is there and he sends it back Dragons' way but the home side get under it and come back at Saints. 

Coles taps the ball to Mitchell off the top of the lineout and Mitchell clears. But his kick heads straight out and Dragons have a lineout now.

Williams clears the restart and Saints will have the lineout back on halfway. 

The restart heads Mallinder's way again and Mitchell boxes the ball high. Sleightholme regathers but the referee awards Dragons the penalty as he's deemed to be offside. Davies points to the posts. 

Mallinder takes the restart and Naiyaravoro charges out of the 22 instantly. 

Davies gets things restarted here in Newport. 

Grayson clears long off the back of the scrum and fullback Williams gets to it. Dragons come forwards again on halfway. 

Mitchell box kicks high and Williams gets back for it. He comes forwards and pushes up to Saints' 22 before he's taken. But there's a forward pass from the home side just after and Saints have the scrum. 

Coles rises high for the restart and Saints push forwards once more. 

Saints push forwards before earning a penalty at the breakdown too. Mitchell takes it quickly and Saints are pushing up to the five metre line now.

Naiyaravoro and Tonks push play into Dragons' 22 off the back of the lineout and still Saints push. 

Davies sends the conversion wide and Williams boxes to touch from the following breakdown. Lineout Saints just outside the Dragons' 22 now. 

Dragons maul forwards at the lineout, working into the midfield from the back of the lineout. 

Saints get a huge shove on at the scrum but the penalty goes Dragons' way. Williams sends the ball into touch for a lineout in Saints' 22 now.

Free kick Dragons at the lineout and they choose the scrum option. 

Penalty Dragons at the scrum this time and Davies sends the ball into touch for a lineout just inside Saints' half.

Saints go for a short lineout but it's deemed not straight and Dragons have the scrum.

Dragons secure the lineout and Williams boxes the ball clear. Lineout Saints on Dragons' 22 now. 

Tonks is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards before Mitchell whips the ball out to Hutchinson. Mitchell spots space in behind again and finds it perfectly, the ball bobbling nicely into touch. Lineout Dragons on their own five metre line. 

Dragons return the restart Saints way and Mallinder sends it high. Williams calls for the mark before sending the ball safely into touch for a Saints lineout just inside the Dragons half. 

The home side race forwards and work back into Saints' 22 quickly. There's an advantage coming for Dragons but they think they've scored. We're with the TMO to check it. 

Mallinder takes the restart well and Saints push out of their 22 quickly. Grayson sends the ball downfield and Hewitt is there to collect it. 

Advantage coming for Saints and eventually we come back for it. Grayson points to the posts.

Coles is up for the lineout and Haywood finds Naiyaravoro off it. Saints are pushing in deep in the Dragons 22 now. 

Overthrown at the lineout from Saints and though Dragons jump on the loose ball, Saints earn the penalty at the next breakdown as Dragons come in from the side. Grayson sends it to the corner for a Saints lineout there. 

Dragons take the lineout under pressure and look to maul but Saints hold them well. Keddie breaks free and Williams sends it high. Naiyaravoro is there and Saints earn the penalty at the next ruck too. Grayson sends it to touch. 

Saints maul forwards off the lineout before Mitchell clears well to touch. Lineout Dragons back in their own half now. 

Eventually Saints' efforts pay dividends though as Dingwall rips the ball in the tackle. Mallinder sends the ball through to space in behind Dragons' line and Hewitt sends it to touch. Lineout Saints on their own 22.

Dragons push forwards off the scrum and work their way slowly up to the Saints 22. A strong defensive effort from Saints pushes them back but the home side keep coming. 

Hutchinson and Dingwall comes forwards but the ball comes forwards in contact in the next phase and Dragons have the scrum on halfway. 

Solid at the scrum but Dragons get it away. Davies clears and Sleightholme gets under it. Saints push on.

Not straight at the lineout from Saints though and Dragons will have the scrum. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum! Grayson sends the ball into touch for a Saints lineout just outside Dragons' 22. 

Coles takes the lineout and it comes out to Naiyaravoro in the midfield. He's taken down but Mitchell knocks on at the base of the ruck. Scrum Dragons. 

Williams clears the restart to touch and Saints will have the lineout back near halfway. 

The ball comes loose at the lineout and Dragons gather. They come forwards into Saints' 22 now with an advantage coming too.

Mitchell sets Coles free into the 22 but he's stripped of the ball in the tackle that takes him down and Dragons push back Saints' way before Wainwright sends the kick through and finds touch in Saints' 22. Lineout Saints there. 

Saints take the lineout quickly and Sleightholme dances forwards. Saints push up to Dragons' 22 but the ball comes loose and the home side scoop up and clear to touch once more. Lineout Saints back outside Dragons' 22. 

Dragons take the lineout cleanly and the ball comes back to Davies to clear to touch. 

Tonks is up for the lineout again and Saints push forwards off the back of it. Charges from Moon and Harrison get Saints on the front foot before Mitchell spots some space in behind and chips the ball through. It bobbles nicely into touch and Dragons will have the lineout deep in their own 22. 

Dragons clear the restart and Saints will have the lineout around halfway. 

After a couple of resets, the scrum penalty eventually goes the hosts' way. Davies points for the posts.

The home side send the ball high and though Grayson is under it, he's under pressure and knock the high ball on. Scrum Dragons just outside Saints' 22. 

Tonks rises for the lineout and Saints maul forwards before Haywood breaks off alone. He finds Mitchell and the ball comes back to Grayson to send downfield. Holmes gathers and Dragons come forwards on halfway now.

Solid at the scrum and fullback Williams finds touch. Lineout Saints on their own 22 now.

Moon is up for the lineout and Saints push forwards but the ball comes loose in contact and Dragons will have the put in at the first scrum. 

Dragons take the kick-off and push forwards before Williams sends it skyward and finds touch. Lineout Saints.
