Northampton Saints vs Saracens

But Saint knock on and Saracens will have the scrum. 

Wigglesworth sends it high and Hutchinson is there. Saints play on.

Overthrow at the lineout though and Saracens play on.

Earl tries to use the ball quickly but Wood is there. Wigglesworth boxes clear and Saints will have the lineout.

Not straight at the lineout from Saints though and Saracens choose the scrum. 

Taylor races forwards but the ball comes loose as he's tackled. We're with the TMO to see if it's a deliberate knock on from Saracens...

Saracens are back to full strength as we set the lineout but knock the ball on and Saints have the scrum. 

Mallinder boots the restart clear and Saracens have a lineout on halfway. 

Solid scrum and Earl uses it quickly. Saracens push forwards before Wigglesworth clears. Glynn charges it down and Saints are within inches now. The ball comes wide to Naiyaravoro but he can't quite get there. We come back for a penalty in the build up though. Mallinder points to the posts.

Saints look to come wide but Mallinder's pass to Proctor is deemed forwards. Scrum Saracens.

Naiyaravoro barges close off the lineout and Saints push on.

Naiyaravoro is up for the high ball as Wigglesworth clears the lineout. And Saints earn a penalty there as he's taken early. Mallinder sends it into touch for a lineout deep in Saracens' 22. 

Bean is replaced by Glynn as we set the lineout.

Saracens look to come wide from the scrum but Symons pushes Segun into touch. But the TMO intervenes and says the tackle is high. Vunipola sends the penalty into touch.

Fish is replaced by Marshall - who makes his return from injury -  as we set the scrum.

Bean barges close but he loses the ball forwards and Saracens will have the scrum. 

Wood is up for the lineout again and Saints push again. 

Saints come wide and have an advantage coming too. We eventually come back for it and we're with the TMO...

Wood is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards before Taylor finds Mallinder in the midfield. He breaks through into the 22 before he finds Eadie. The ball comes wide left but Dingwall's pass finds touch instead of Harrison's hands. Lineout Saracens.

Reinach is replaced by Taylor as we set the lineout.

Coles is up for the lineout and Saints earn a penalty at the ruck just after. Mallinder sends it to touch for a lineout back in Saracens' half. 

Skelton charges forwards from the restart but he's taken down by Hutchinson. Tompkins hacks the ball through and it finds touch. Lineout Saints on their own 22. 

Trio of changes for Saints: Van Wyk, Hill and Tuala make way for B Franks, O Franks and Symons.

The TMO intervenes as Van Wyk is taken high in the last play and Mallinder send the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout in Saracens' half. 

Saracens push from the lineout but knock on and Saints will have the scrum. 

Eadie replaces Tonks as we set the lineout.

Reinach boxes and it heads into touch. Lineout Saracens. 

Beans and Naiyaravoro return as we get back underway and Proctors collects the high ball. Saints play on.

Eventually we come back for the penalty and Saints go for the corner.

Mallinder launches the ball up and Saracens return. Reinach is there but he's stripped in the tackle and Saracens play on.

Saints push wide from the scrum and are up to the Saracens' 22 quickly. But Fish can't quite get a hand to a loose ball. Saracens boot is down the pitch and Tompkins is in chase but Tuala gets there first to dot it down over the line. 22 drop Saints.

Van Wyk and Tonks come forwards before Reinach hacks it through. Gallagher is there but his clearing kick is charged down into touch. Lineout Saracens.

After a bit of aerial tennis, Wigglesworth sends it to touch. Lineout Saints on halfway.

Saracens look to maul but get nowhere and Wigglesworth sends it high. Tuala is there and Saints play on.

Strong scrum from Saints but Earl gets the ball away. Saracens push and earn penalty as Saints are pinged for a high tackle. Vunipola sends it to touch. Lineout Saracens. 

Dingwall dances through Saracens' line are nearly over but Tonks just loses control over the line. Scrum Saracens.

We restart with a scrum to Saints.

Naiyaravoro charges forwards out wide and Saints push forwards once more. But referee Matthew Carley spots a head injury and we pause the game while Wray is seen to.

Coles is there for the restart and Saints push forwards before Reinach boxes high. Goode is there but Coles is on him. Wigglesworth boxes and Mallinder is there. Saints play on.

The ball comes wide and Naiyaravoro charges forwards. Saints have the advantage coming and eventually we come back for it. Mallinder points for the posts.

Good defence from Saints an Reinach gets over the ball to earn the home side the penalty. Biggar sends it to touch for a lineout on Saracens' 22. 

No conversion from Biggar in the strong winds here but Reinach is there to take the restart. Saracens turn over but Saints pressure well and push them back to halfway.
