Helena Rowland and Lilli Ives Campion are set to start for the Red Roses on Saturday (2 August, kick-off: 3pm BST) at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, with Sadia Kabeya on the bench in a World Cup warm-up against Spain.
Fresh from winning the Guinness Women’s Six Nations title for a seventh successive time, the Red Roses begin their Rugby World Cup preparations by taking on Spain for the first time since the 2017 World Cup.
Ives Campion starts in the second row for her third cap with Rowland making her 40th appearance on the wing and Kabeya is primed to make an impact off the bench.
England’s match with Spain – and next week’s encounter against France – will be co-streamed by England Rugby YouTube and BBC iPlayer and website.
