Loughborough Lightning’s Anne Young and Lucia Scott both start for Scotland against Ireland on Saturday (2 August, kick-off: 2.30pm BST) at Virgin Media Park, with Elis Martin and Leia Brebner-Holden on the bench.
Scott moves from full-back to wing and is joined in the starting squad with Anne Young at loosehead prop. Martin, who scored last time out against Italy, is poised to come off the bench alongside a fourth Lightning representative, scrum-half Brebner-Holden.
The fixture against Ireland represents the last Test before the Rugby World Cup gets underway later in the month, with Scotland’s opening Pool B fixture coming against Wales in Salford on Saturday 23 August.
