Loughborough Lightning will return to Northampton later this season as two further matches are confirmed to take place at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
Supporters will be able to get their rugby fix after the conclusion of Northampton Saints’ regular Gallagher Premiership season, as Lightning head back to the Gardens bolstered by their internationals after the TikTok Women’s Six Nations – welcoming Gloucester-Hartpury (Sunday 14 May) and Saracens Women (Saturday 3 June) in the Allianz Premier 15s.
Lightning have claimed victories in two of their four outings in Northampton so far this term, beating Wasps in a standalone game in January and then Sale Sharks last month in a Double Header with Saints at the Gardens.
And Rhys Edwards says his side are delighted to be returning to Northampton as the season draws to a close.
“The team love playing at the Gardens,” said the Lightning Director of Rugby. “So, we’re really looking forward to getting back there for another two matches this season.
“We’ve had some brilliant support in Northampton already this campaign and the chance to play on a pitch like Saints’, with loud crowds in the stands, is something the squad relish.
“Both Gloucester and Saracens will prove two tough tests, but we’re determined to enjoy closing out the season with a bang.”

- Tickets for Lightning’s two further matches in Northampton are on sale now, costing just £7 adult / £3 junior* per game.
- A Lightning ticket bundle is also available, which covers Loughborough’s two extra matches in Northampton for just £10 adult / £5 junior*.
- Saints Season Ticket Holders can enjoy a 20% discount across all ticket types whilst Members receive a 15% discount. This discount can be accessed by signing into your Ticketing account before purchasing.
- Please note, although you will be able to select your seat when purchasing tickets for Lightning matches, this will be limited selection from within the Carlsberg Stand (and, if necessary, the cinch Stand).
- So, if you are a Saints Season Ticket Holder, you will not necessarily be able to use your regular matchday seat.
