Loughborough Lightning versus Sale Sharks moved for SuperPWR weekend

Loughborough Lightning’s match against Sale Sharks at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens has been moved from Saturday 3 March to the following day (Sunday 3 March, kick-off: 3pm) after it was picked to be televised live on TNT Sports.

Tickets for the match are on sale priced from just  £6 adult / £3 junior*, in what will be the concluding fixture of Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby ‘SuperPWR weekend’ which will see all four matches broadcast live and all the games will be played in main stadiums.

Lightning’s match will follow Saracens hosting Leicester Tigers at Allianz Park (kick-off: 1pm). Saturday’s double offering starts with a re-run of last year’s final as Gloucester-Hartpury tackle Exeter Chiefs (kick-off: 3.05pm) and is followed by Trailfinders Women versus Bristol Bears (kick-off: 5pm).

Marlie Packer the Saracens and England captain is one of our SuperPWR weekend ambassadors. She said: “The league has taken a huge step forward this season and I can’t wait to see bumper crowds and TV audiences on the SuperPWR Weekend on 2nd and 3rd of March.

All four matches will be broadcast that weekend with two games on TNT Sports, and both Trailfinders Women v Bristol Bears and Saracens v Leicester Tigers on PWR’s YouTube channel and on TikTok.
