Loughborough Lightning’s Bulou Mataitoga and Kathryn Treder have been selected in the USA squad for their Pacific Four Series match against New Zealand.
USA enter the final round searching for their first victory of this year’s tournament, having gone down to both Canada and Australia.
The North Harbour Stadium clash, which kicks off at 4.35am (UK time) on Saturday 24 May, sees Mataitoga start at full back on the occasion of her 25th cap.
Clubmate Treder is the replacement hooker, and is set to earn cap number 29 when she emerges from the bank.
Alev Kelter misses out after receiving a three-game ban following her dismissal against Australia last weekend.
