Northampton Saints vs Gloucester Rugby

Saints keep the ball and it comes back to Furbank to send it into the Church's Stand to end the game!

Just seconds left on the clock here and Saints push on the halfway line.

Wood claims the restart and Saints play on.

Wood takes the lien out and Saints maul forwards before Taylor whips it out. We eventually come back for a penalty at the lineout though and Francis points to the posts.

No conversion from Cipriani out wide and Simpson clears the restart. Tuala is there and he come charging forwards. The ball comes loose but Simpson sends it straight out. Lineout Saints just outside the Gloucester 22.

Gloucester take the lineout and push forwards. Harris breaks through but he's taken down in the Saints' 22. Gloucester keep coming.

Lawes charges forwards and Taylor clears. Lineout Gloucester back at halfway.

No try says the TMO - a huge try-saving tackle from Furbank! Lineout Saints instead.

Gloucester look to maul but are held and as the ball whips wide they are held on the halfway line too. Gloucester race forwards and think they've scored in the corner through Cipriani. We're with the TMO...

Haywood makes way for Matavesi as we set the lineout.

Taylor tries to go alone but is isolated and Gloucester earn the penalty. Cipriani sends it to touch and Gloucester will have the lineout just inside their own half.

Wood takes the lineout and Ludlam charges forwards. Lawes breaks free and he's up to the 22 before he's taken. Saints keep coming.

Gloucester claim the lineout but Saints' defence pushed them right back. Cipriani clears and Saints have the lineout on halfway. 

Gloucester look to come wide from the scrum but Francis gets there. Heinz is forced to kick and Taylor collects. He hacks it through and it finds touch in the corner. Lineout Gloucester there.

Naiyaravoro has passed his HIA and returns, with Reinach making way. 

Saints come inside but are held up there. Scrum Gloucester. 

Waller replaces Van Wyk as we set the lineout.

Ludlam gets over the ball off the restart and Francis sends it to touch for a lineout just outside Gloucester's 22.

A HIA for Symons now and Reinach returns to the field in his place.

Cipriani sends the ball through off the scrum and Tuala is there. He finds Symons but he's pushed into touch. Lineout Gloucester on halfway. 

Saints come steaming forwards from the scrum but just as Tuala thinks he's away we come back for a forward pass. Scrum Gloucester.

HIA for Naiyaravoro and Symons comes on in his place.

Saints come forwards and there's a knock on on the floor but it's off Gloucester hands. Scrum Saints.

Cipriani clears the restart and Tuala sends the ball high. Heinz just gets there though and he boxes clear a few moments later. Tuala is there again and Saints play on.

Changes for Saints and it's a warm welcome back to Ribbans and Taylor who replace Moon and Reinach, while Painter is replaced by Hill as we restart.

Gloucester whip the ball wide from the scrum but Hutchinson puts in a huge try-saving tackle on Banahan and Tuala and Collins work hard to get over the ball and earn the penalty for Saints! Furbank sends it to touch for a lineout just outside their own 22.

Penalty Gloucester on the restart as Reinach is found offside. Cipriani sends it to touch for a lineout just outside Saints' 22.

Gloucester think they've scored now but we're with the TMO for this one too...

Gloucester take the resulting lineout cleanly and push towards Saints' 22.

It's very close but referee Karl Dickson says Collins is in front of Tuala when it kicks it. So no try and we come back for a penalty to Gloucester instead.

Tuala chips through, Collins is there and Reinach thinks he's over! We're with the TMO to see if it's legal...

Francis comes steaming forwards from the lineout and Saints are within Gloucester's half quickly.

Ludlam takes the restart and Saints push on once more. Wood gets play out of Saints' 22 before Reinach boxes high. Gloucester  get there but are pushed into touch. Lineout Saints.

Harrison gets play into Gloucester's 22 and Saints are still pushing hard...

Hutchinson and Tuala get things into Gloucester's half and still Saints push.

Saints barge their way out of their 22 quickly and Furbank sends it high. Gloucester just get there first and Cipriani sends it back. Naiyaravoro is there though and Saints play on. 

Change for Saints at the break: Tuala replaces Biggar as we restart, with Furbank coming in to the fly-half position.

Heinz boxes and it's scrappy as it comes down but it's a Saints scrum. 

Ludlam collects the restart and Reinach boxes and Cipriani returns. Furbank marks it though and sends it long into touch. But Gloucester take the lineout quickly and play on around halfway.

Francis finds Furbank who finds Harrison outside and the Saints skipper barges his way into the Gloucester 22. Saints are furious in attack now and pushing hard, they earn a penalty there and Biggar points to the posts. 

Saints collect the ball from the drop out and push forwards over the halfway line before Reinach sends it high. The Saints scrum-half collects the ball too and Saints are charging forwards. 

Biggar collects the restart too and boots it long. But it's a little too long and Cipriani dots it down over the Gloucester try line for a 22 drop to the away side.

Eventually we come back for a penalty advantage being played and Biggar sends it into the corner.

Biggar breaks free off the lineout to get Saints into the 22 again and the home side keep coming.

Moon takes the lineout and Saints maul forwards, earning a penalty there. Biggar sends it to the corner.

Reinach gets over the ball and earns Saints the penalty there though. Furbank takes over kicking duties to send it to the corner.

Ludlam takes the restart and Saints push their way forwards before Biggar sends the ball high. It goes loose and he re-collects it. Saints come forwards but the ball comes loose again and Gloucester play on.

Heinz boxes and Biggar is there. Reinach breaks free out wide but his offload comes forwards off Saints hands and Gloucester will have the scrum. 

Lawes is up for the lineout again and Saints push forwards once more. Biggar sends the ball skywards and Sharples is there again. Gloucester play on.

Biggar hacks the ball through but Sharples just gets there first. He clears and Saints have the lineout back inside their own half.

Lawes takes the lineout again and Francis is through off the back of it. Saints are in Gloucester's 22 now and pushing.

Cipriani clears the restart and Saints will have a lineout.

Lawes takes the lineout and Saints maul this time. They work for a few yards before Reinach boxes. Sharples is there though and Gloucester play on.

Gloucester's maul is held once more and Heinz boxes long. Lineout Saints in their own 22.

Reinach scoops the ball from the base of the scrum and Saints come forwards once more. They work up to Glouester's 22 before Reinach is pushed into touch there. Lineout Gloucester.

Biggar sends the high ball up but Gloucester hands just get there first. Cipriani chips through and after Reinach returns, Gloucester knock the ball one. Scrum Saints back near halfway. 

Gloucester look to maul from the lineup once more but Saints work hard and turn the ball over. Saints play on.

Gloucester maul the lineout but Saints hold them well and force them to use it. The ball comes wide to Sharples who gets things over halfway but we come back for an advantage to Gloucester just inside Glocuester's half. Cipriani sends it into the corner.

Heinz boxes the kick-off and Furbank is there. He finds Biggar who dashes up the left before offloading to Hutchinson. The latter is pushed into touch though and Gloucester will have the lineout.

Saints' last game of the decade is on as Biggar gets us underway at the Gardens!
