Northampton Saints vs Harlequins

Penalty won by Saints inside their own 22, but Mallinder misses touch and Northampton are running out of time.

Taylor jackles well again and wins a penalty, Mallinder sticks it into Quins territory.

Dingwall penalised for coming in at the side and Quins are let off the hook slightly, but their lineout goes astray again and Taylor boxes.

Mallinder pulls the conversion wide and let's hope that's not costly for Saints. Isiekwe gathers the restart and the hosts' build from deep again.

Brilliant few phases from Saints takes them 50m upfield, and Hutchinson grubbers into the corner to put Quins' lineout under pressure.

Taylor taps and goes, but is then pinged for holding on. We have a brief stoppage and everyone catches their breath after another frantic few minutes.

Marshall wins a penalty on halfway and Mallinder strikes it inside the 22. Meanwhile the whole of Saints' front row makes way with Franks, Auterac and Fish coming on.

Grayson and Wood are replaced by Dingwall and Adendorff.

Replacements for Saints as Hutchinson comes on for Francis.

Quins break down the right with yet another Smith grubber and Brown finds Earle on the inside. Saints stop the attack but are penalised and Quins tap and go looking for a try.

Great clearance from Mitchell gives Northampton some breathing room. Quins now with a lineout 40m out.

Smith grubbers through and Saints under some pressure now with a lineout on their own 22. Marshall hits Ribbans and Northampton set up a maul before Mitchell darts up the left and is ushered into touch.

Some handbags in the middle of the park involving Hill and Dombrandt, but nothing there says the referee and we're back for a Quins scrum.

Frantic start to the half with both sides looking to carry hard. Mitchell sends up a box, and Quins regain possession inside their half.

Scrum to Quins on halfway, Saints just can't get hold of the ball at the moment. But Brown knocks on and Northampton get the put in and an attacking opportunity of their own.

Quins use a scrum well inside their own half, releasing Earle again, but as they recycle Smith looks for the chip over, and Mallinder tidies up well and clears outside the 22.

Really open game here with both teams looking to get the ball out wide, and after several spectacular offloads Quins looked to have scored through Louw. But the TMO steps in just before Smith takes the conversion to rule out the try for a forward pass, and Saints get the scrum.

Bit of kick tennis between Tuala, Mitchell, Smith and Brown sees the latter carry it out and Saints make a massive gain! But the lineout is overthrown and Quins get it back.
