Vote now for your Travis Perkins Player of the Month and win £50 of vouchers!

Voting is now open for the Travis Perkins Player of the Month prize for April, with supporters able to vote for the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch over the course of the month.

The competition will remain open for one week before the winning player is announced by Northampton Saints and Travis Perkins, with voting closing at midnight on 20 May.

Travis Perkins are also offering a special prize for those that vote for the award; one lucky supporter who votes for their Player of the Month will be selected at random and win a £50 voucher to spend in the Saints Store.

Chris Boyd’s side started their month in Europe, performing impressively to come from behind in the Challenge Cup quarter-final at Dragons to secure their first semi-final place in the competition in seven years.

And though they missed out on a place in the final as they fell to Ulster the following weekend, Saints returned to the Gallagher Premiership in fine form, securing a win over London Irish on home soil before producing an all-important victory in the East Midlands derby against Leicester Tigers.

It was those performances that not only kept Saints in the fight for a top four finish, but also produced a host of candidates for the award, with Northampton’s coaches narrowing it down to four nominees – Dan Biggar, Teimana Harrison, Alex Mitchell and David Ribbans.

Scoring 22 points over his three games in April, it was Biggar’s man-of-the-match performance at Leicester that cemented his nomination this month, while Harrison continued his fine form to start all four of Saints’ clashes, racking up the carries and tackles as well as scoring a crucial try against Dragons.

Mitchell racked up an impressive four tries throughout the month, dotting down against Dragons and Ulster before claiming a brace in an impressive performance against London Irish, and Ribbans’ usual relentless work-rate saw him cross the whitewash against Tigers and earn him a place among the nominees.

PLEASE NOTE: Only one vote per entrant will be counted.
