Vote now for your Travis Perkins Player of the Month and win £50 of vouchers!

Voting is now open below for the Travis Perkins Player of the Month prize for April, with supporters able to vote for the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch over the course of the month.

The competition will remain open for one week before the winning player is announced by Northampton Saints and Travis Perkins, with voting closing at midnight on Thursday 12 April.

Travis Perkins are also offering a special prize for those that vote for the award; one lucky supporter who votes for their Player of the Month will be selected at random and win a £50 voucher to spend in the Saints Store.

Saints enjoyed an impressive run of form in the Gallagher Premiership in April – winning all three of their league outings to claim bonus-point wins over Bristol Bears and Harlequins on home soil, as well as an impressive comeback victory over Bath at the Recreation Ground.

And despite a European Challenge Cup Round of 16 defeat to Gloucester blemishing their copy book, Northampton propelled themselves up to fourth in the Premiership table and kept themselves firmly in the fight for a spot in the play-offs.

With those clashes in mind, Northampton’s coaches have narrowed the candidates for the monthly award down to four nominees – George Furbank, Lewis Ludlam, Alex Mitchell and Api Ratuniyarawa.

Furbank made 264 metres with the ball in hand across the four matches, making 11 carries and 122 metres against Harlequins alone; while club captain Ludlam featured in all 320 minutes of rugby across the month and continued to lead from the front with his physical carrying, taking the ball into contact some 45 times in the four matches.

Meanwhile scrum-half Mitchell continued his rich run of form, being named Land Rover Player of the Week for his efforts against Bath before taking home the Man of the Match medal in Saints’ nail-biting victory over Quins. And Ratuniyarawa’s attrition in both attack and defence earned the lock his fair share of praise too, with the 35-year-old keeping a 100% tackle record against Bristol and Quins while also making 24 carries in the four games.

PLEASE NOTE: Only one vote per entrant will be counted.
