Voting is now open below for the Travis Perkins Player of the Month prize for December, with supporters able to vote for the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch over the course of the month.
The competition will remain open for one week before the winning player is announced by Northampton Saints and Travis Perkins, with voting closing at midnight on Tuesday 11 January.
Travis Perkins are also offering a special prize for those that vote for the award; one lucky supporter who votes for their Player of the Month will be selected at random and win a £50 voucher to spend in the Saints Store.
Saints started the month with a resounding six-try win over Bath Rugby on home soil, but losses to Racing 92, Ulster Rugby and Harlequins would follow before the end of the year despite spirited showings from Chris Boyd’s men in Belfast and Twickenham.
No. 8 Augustus scored his first points in Black, Green and Gold in December and quickly added three more tries to his tally, posting a pair of doubles against both Bath and Harlequins before the turn of the year; while Biggar remained metronomic from the tee as he kicked 22 points in his three outings.
Meanwhile club captain Ludlam continued his impressive defensive efforts – making some 52 tackles across the month – as he skippered the side from the back row; and scrum-half Mitchell also continued his rich vein of attacking form, beating nine defenders and making 149 metres with the ball in hand while assisting two of Saints’ tries in December.
PLEASE NOTE: Only one vote per entrant will be counted.
