Voting is now open for the Travis Perkins Player of the Month prize for January, with supporters able to vote for the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch over the course of the month.
The competition will remain open for one week before the winning player is announced by Northampton Saints and Travis Perkins, with votes closing at midnight on 10 February.
Travis Perkins are also offering a special prize for those that vote for the award; one lucky supporter who votes for their Player of the Month will be selected at random and win a £50 voucher to spend in the Saints Store.
And despite only taking to the field once in January, the side’s bonus-point win against Gloucester at Kingsholm produced plenty of candidates for this month’s award – with Saints’ coaches nominating Shaun Adendorff, Rory Hutchinson, Matt Proctor and David Ribbans for their outstanding performances.
No.8 Adendorff scored twice and scooped the man-of-the-match award in the win, but centre Hutchinson also caught the eye as he had a hand in all four of Saints’ tries against the Cherry and Whites. Proctor meanwhile, playing on the wing, made 83 metres from his five carries and beat seven defenders along the way, while lock Ribbans once again ruled the skies in the West Country as he won four lineouts and stole another.
PLEASE NOTE: Only one vote per entrant will be counted.
