Bid to be a Saints mascot and raise money for Royal British Legion

Northampton Saints’ home clash against Wasps in the Gallagher Premiership on Saturday 17 November (kick-off 3pm) is set to be an extra-special occasion, with the Club’s annual Remembrance Ceremony falling on the same day.

Now very much a tradition at Franklin’s Gardens, the squad and the crowd will pay their respects to the town’s fallen war heroes – with proceeds from the game’s bucket shake going towards the Royal British Legion.

But you can also play your part for the Armed Forces charity and get a member of your family or rugby club involved in the match by bidding in Saints’ silent auction to be a mascot for the day.

Children aged between 7 and 14 can walk out with the team and join in the minute's silence on the pitch as the wreaths are laid on the stadium’s War Memorial and players, coaches and supporters alike take a moment to remember those who gave their lives for their country.

There are 15 mascot places available in total for the game, with match tickets for the mascot and one accompanying adult included within the prize.

Last season's silent auction raised over £1500 for the RBL, alongside bucket shakes and poppy sales around the stadium, and Saints are hoping for more of the same this year.

To be in with a chance of running out with the team, place your bid by CLICKING HERE and filling out our entrance form no later than 11.59pm on Friday 9 November.

The highest 15 bids will win one place to be a mascot for Saints v Wasps on November 17. All proceeds will go towards the Royal British Legion, which provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans, and their families.

Tickets to see Saints return to Gallagher Premiership action against Wasps are still available. Book your place from £36 adults and £16 juniors now by CLICKING HERE.
