On the field the Saints team is well placed at the top of the Aviva Premiership table after 13 rounds and is in the knockout stages of both the European Rugby Champions Cup and LV= Cup, with 15 players called up for various international representative squads during the season so far.
Meanwhile off the field Franklin’s Gardens is set for a major development that will change the face of the country’s best dedicated rugby facility, with the new Barwell Stand replacing the Sturtridge Pavilion over the summer.
So there will be plenty to commemorate come Monday, May 18th, when the End of Season Awards will be handed out.
Once again the Awards will be held in a special marquee on the main pitch, with the black tie event featuring a four-course meal and the handing out of the Supporters’ Player, Players’ Player and Young Player of the Season gongs, as well as to the scorer of the Try of the Season. Those players who have passed the 50, 100 and 200-appearance marks will also be honoured.
